Raynsway Accommodates NHS Increase
Leicester’s largest provider of community healthcare services has increased its presence at Bridge Business Park in Thurmaston after agreeing a deal with commercial property developer Raynsway Properties.
The head office of the Leicester City Community Health Service now occupies the X sq ft Riverside House in addition to its existing office at Bridge Park Plaza, both of which are on Bridge Park Road, housing a total number of 324 employees.
Up to 45 of these employees are from the service’s human resources, training and finance departments, which have relocated to this additional space from St John’s House on East Street in the city centre. They have joined the existing NHS services on site such as the Diana Nursing Service, Adult Community Health Services, clinical records, The Directorate of Quality and Development and senior management.
Managing Director Paul Miller comments, “We required further space to accommodate staff who are relocating from the city and others who are temporarily displaced from their usual offices due to a programme of refurbishments. Riverside House was an obvious solution for us, being conveniently adjoined to our original office. We're fortunate that the site overlooks the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal at Watermead Country Park which makes for a very pleasant working environment."
